Der 24. Juni war wieder ein glühend heißer Tag, doch kein Grund für uns, keine Mangroven zu pflanzen. Diesmal war es San Isidro, Davao Oriental: 3.000 Setzlinge für Click-a-Tree und 2.335 für Ingmar Bertelsen, der diese Mangroven für den Rotary Club in Davao gespendet hat.
Wir teilten die Pflanzungen so auf, dass alle Fischerfamilien vom zusätzlichen Einkommen profitieren konnten. Die 3.000 für Click-a-Tree wurden von sechs Familien gepflanzt, die auch die Setzlinge gezogen hatten, die übrigen von der Fischervereinigung. Die ersten Pflanzer waren schon um 5:00 Uhr vor Ort, und bis zum Mittag konnten wir ein köstliches Mahl genießen, weil die Arbeit erledigt war. Vielen Dank!
